We are enthralled by the many facets of teamwork on a daily basis. People laughing together, facing challenges in a group, sharing precious moments with eachother and the dedication to reach a mutual goal are all motives behind a unique experience.
Two decades ago, we were the first company in the outdoor industry to exclusively put our focus on corporate events. We are convinced that it is worthwhile to respect the difference between private individual adventures and team experiences. Mutual success is the main goal of the event. To ensure this, each participants’ circumstances must be taken into account.
Risk Management, in our world, means we take no risks. This is demonstrated in our choice of activities but also means that we simply just do not offer certain activities. No outdoor activity organised by basecamp needs any sort of special insurance as none are categorised as risk activities.
We are specialised in putting together tailor-made event concepts. What would you like to achieve? What should your guests experience? After taking all criteria into account, we choreograph an individual program which will outshine any standardized modules. Our story
The roots of basecamp go back to the 90s of the last century. As an outdoor company, we decided to offer our adventures consequently for companies and their employees.
One of the first products representing our style of work is the raft building program we launched, where teams build a common platform from ready-made material. For this product, leadership patterns and creative collaboration are the keys to mutual success.
Later on, we created activities such as carving ice sculptures as well as action painting. For several years in winter, we were involved in the constructing of large event igloos. The beautiful ice and snow creations never ceased to amaze our guests.
Almost ten years ago we started a conscious downsizing process. We were and are of the opinion that the developments in the market have produced offers that are more about having fun than focusing on team development in a meaningful way. While we have absolutely nothing against having fun, we consider a combination with a sense of purpose essential.
As a result, numerous tailor-made events (event design) with a considerable number of returning guests/companies have been created. This core competence has been further developed over the years and we are proud to present many productions as our signature events. Examples can be found under video links.

The basis of all that we do is nature. We treat it with respect and humbleness and consistently live by the principle of receiving what nature has to offer…
Put into words, this means that we carry out regular clean-up campaigns in heavily frequented areas, we avoid using plastic as much as possible and we distribute leftover food from catering to people in need. In addition, you can ensure that we only use organic products.
We try to use fossil fuels as little as possible. This is also the reason why we now do without helicopter flights for events. This does not mean that we can no longer carry out glacier offers, we simply design them in an environmentally friendly way.
